Warehousing Services

FFT operates three separate warehousing facilities strategically located in close proximity to the Dar-es-Salaam port and city center. FFT’s warehouses are ideal for general storage, specialized storage, deconsolidation of containers, and cross-docking. Our facilities have 24/7 security, CCTV security cameras, and electric fencing. The yards are laid with Carbo paving to British Port Standard (BPS) with a custom-built area to handle hazardous cargo, including Cyanide.

We store goods that are being forwarded on, or that are in Tanzania to stay for distribution. Our warehousing teams are able to manage client stocks on a retainer basis, using either our clients’ ERP or using our own SAP-backed systems.

FFT warehousing services include expertise to handle dangerous chemicals according to international best practice. Our facilities are certified by GCLA, ICMI, OSHA, NEMC and TFDA.

The Freight Forwarders Group has widescale logistics operations and experienced professionals across 5 countries, including Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

24/7 CCTV Camera surveillance, 24/7 armed guards and guarded gates, electric fence and security protocols in place.

Our warehouses are supported by 150 logistics professionals in Tanzania and more than 1,500 people in the East African region. We actively recruit the most talented professionals.

Our assets include: Material handling equipment, mobile waste management treatment equipment, and heavy duty lifting equipment for up to 80 tons.
